Tackling the At Risk
FAMILY/COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
12B, 11:30 – 12:30
Involve the highly at-risk student to become part of a
positive team with the collaboration of the community.
This session will share how a student mentoring
program will work for a campus in promoting positive
relationships within the school and community. The
motivation is for students to attend, stay in school, learn,
and increase their self-esteem to hopefully become
successful members of society. The collaboration of
local organizations has helped promote the relationship
between the school, students, parents, and community.
