Are you looking for strategies that will impact student
achievement in a rapid and dramatic way? The Texas
Turnaround Leadership Academy (TTLA) is an effective
strategy identified by the Texas Education Agency
(TEA) as an initiative to build district- and campuslevel
capacity to support the turnaround efforts at the
district and campus level. This initiative empowers
high-potential school leaders and positions them for
turnaround through systemic professional development
and ongoing customized support to turnaround
academically under-performing schools.
