CPDI = Complete Campus Climate and
Culture Change
SCHOOL CLIMATE
Participants in this session designed for secondary
schools will learn the basics of the Collaborative
Professional Development Initiative (CPDI), which is the
teacher-created and data-driven initiative responsible for
the culture and climate change at Palestine High School.
Teacher leaders will share the design, research, and
results of this job-embedded professional development
project that addresses the campus as a unified body of
active learners and includes the students, in addition
to building capacity for teacher leadership through
the seamless integration of professional learning
communities. Participants will leave with ideas for their
own campus initiatives and practical information for
implementation.
