Secure WebMail
The Secure WebMail feature provides a highly secure mechanism for accessing webmail services
such as Microsoft OWA (Outlook Web Access), Lotus iNotes, and IMAP servers.
Webmail services provide an attractive, easy to use remote interface for users to access their mail
server mailboxes remotely via a web browser.
As these webmail services are accessible from the Internet, they present a number of security
challenges. The Secure WebMail feature is designed to support the use of webmail service use while
protecting them from Internet attacks. The connection is managed using a full application proxy.
ePrism completely recreates all HTTP/HTTPS requests made by the external client to the internal
webmail server.
Configuring Secure WebMail and ePrism Mail Client
Select Basic Config -> Network, and then select the WebMail check box to enable WebMail
access on a network interface.
