Time Involved<br />
The Foundation Courses are introductory part-time programmes running over the<br />
academic year from October to May (25 weeks duration).<br />
Classes are held twice a week from 7-9pm and 7-10pm. There will also be occasional<br />
Saturday laboratory and study skills sessions involved in the programmes.<br />
Costs<br />
€250 (subject to yearly review)<br />
Social welfare recipients should contact the Access Officer in either GMIT or NUI,<br />
Galway.<br />
Entry Requirements and Application<br />
There are no specific entry requirements but Leaving Certificate standard would be<br />
desirable.<br />
The application process consists of completion of an application form.<br />
