Entry Requirements<br />

Candidates must be 23 years of age on or before January 1st of year of entry<br />

Candidates must have EU nationality or have lived for at least three of the previous<br />

five years in an EU member state<br />

Application is through the CAO and closing date is February 1st (It is not possible to<br />

consider late applications on grounds of Mature Years)<br />

Mature applicants to Arts Faculty courses must sit a written assessment (aptitude<br />

test) in April<br />

In general successful applicants must demonstrate an ability to undertake, and to<br />

commit to, the programme of study for which they are applying<br />

Matriculation standard leaving cert. helpful but not necessary in all cases<br />
