About the <strong>University</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> College <strong>Dublin</strong> is a dynamic, modern university. UCD<br />
provides excellent facilities to support teaching and learning.<br />
There are well-resourced libraries and extensive computing<br />
facilities. Student health, welfare and counselling services<br />
are second-to none and there are superb opportunities for<br />
sports and recreation. UCD provides the range of services that<br />

As part of our continuing commitment to lifelong learning, UCD offers a<br />
comprehensive support service for mature learners. The Mature Student Administrator<br />
offers information and advice to prospective students regarding application, eligibiliity<br />
and admissions procedures. The Mature Student Adviser provides ongoing support to<br />
mature students once they have embarked on their studies.<br />

Entry Requirements<br />

Applicants must be 23 years on or before January 1st in year of entry<br />
Application for the majority of our courses is through the CAO by 1st of February. For<br />
some courses late applications up to 1st of May will be considered.<br />
In general, applicants are assessed on academic ability, relevance of life andwork<br />
experience, commitment, motivation and interest. For many courses, selection is<br />
based on the written application.
