Contact various vendors
of 3 rd party assessment
measurements
such as (but not
limited to):
- CAPP
- CLA
- MAAP
We will ask these companies
to provide us
examples of tests, reports,
and feedback.
When? Timeline
- Multiple cohort institutions
will be contacted to determine
the way they assess
general education and to
gain feedback on any of the
various 3 rd party assessment
tools they use from
Nov. – Dec. 2010.
- The 3 rd party assessment
companies / vendors will be
contacted and asked to
present some information
on their particular testing
products such as tests and
reports from Jan. – Feb.
2011.
- The assessment committee
and various administrators
will review the different
vendors‟ products and
determine if they would like
to pilot a test in Fall 2011
and if so, which vendor.
This will be completed by
May 2011.

The General Assessment
Sub-

able to review and
use “LiveText”, a
software platform that
assists colleges in
data collection for
assessment. 3 rd
party assessment
tools were not reviewed
but multiple
software platforms
were reviewed briefly.
