concepts used in a variety of disciplines will be<br />

creating Computer Graphic (CG) environments and<br />

This course introduces students to the various<br />

methods of matching the motion shot on a live-action<br />

plate and applying that motion to a digital element.<br />

2D and 3D tracking methods will be introduced.<br />

This course will also introduce students to morphing<br />

technology and methods by which elements can be<br />

seamlessly blended together within the frame.<br />

This course examines the cultural, social, and<br />

individual variables involved in consumer behavior.<br />

Persuasive techniques are also examined. Among<br />

the topics covered are framing effect, emotional<br />

hot buttons, mass appeal, snob appeal, subliminal<br />

messages, and the bandwagon effect. Students use<br />

various media to learn to use predictable consumer<br />

behavior and conditions to achieve a desired effect<br />

This course addresses technical and conceptual<br />

concepts in relation to contemporary photography.<br />

Students experiment with a variety of lighting<br />

photographs. <strong>The</strong> collaborative relationship between<br />

the art director and photographer is also explored.<br />

Students will begin to develop skills needed for<br />

effective presentations that evoke appropriate<br />

Crafting and delivering both prepared and<br />

extemporaneous messages to alternative audiences<br />

will be explored through visual and oral presentation<br />

techniques. <strong>The</strong> use of current technology and<br />

attributes will also be discussed. Oral, written and<br />

video critiques will be used to correct and perfect<br />

This course will offer students the opportunity<br />

to explore the essential steps involved in writing,<br />

revising, and presenting their own fiction. In<br />

addition, students will be reading and critiquing the<br />
