Uses of The Competencies<br />
The University of California–San Diego School of Medicine Forensic Certificate is based on<br />
The Competencies, criminology issues, <strong>and</strong> penology. The Competencies also serves as the<br />
minimum st<strong>and</strong>ard for the California Association of Addiction Certifying Organizations, a quality<br />
assurance body for the State.<br />
