Mr. Dalrymple charged me 2 times for a re-billing fee in the amount of 550.00 each,
dated 31" January 2008 and 28 March 2008 for a total of 5100.00. Mr. Dalrymple did not send
me any statements from L8 October 2007 when I retained his services, until he sent me the
statement for 30 April 2008. When I talked to Mr. Dalrymple on 27 May 2008, he stated that he
needed more money and informed me that he had been sending my monthly statements to an
old address. (l have been living in my home from August2007 until present. Before I retained
Mr. Dalrymple for the second time). I them made a 54000.00 paymento him on 29 May 2008.
During this seven month time frame, I have seen and talked to Mr. Dalrymple a minimum of 34
times (according to his statements) with no mention of needing more money or that I have not
responded to any of his statements that shows I owe any money to him.
Going by Mr. Dalrymple's monthly statements and his signed receipts. I paid him a total
of 513,000.00 from l-8 October 2007 until his death. He billed me for 910,888.55 and a refund
was sent to my new lawyer Bonnie Lam in the amount of S1-,070.00. That leaves a balance on
my account of S1041.45 that I have never received.
Amount paid: 513,000.00
Amount billed: 5L0,888.55
Amount refunded: S1,070.00
Total: 511,958.55
Account balance: S1,0+L.+S
Amount overcharged : 5100.00
Amount owed:
Also it was noted in the "CLIENT SECURITY FUND INVESTIGATIVE REPORT" dated24
October 20L2 that I waited over 2 years after Mr. Dalrymple's death before filing a claim. Due
to the delay in transferring my files and refund to my new lawyer and realizing that I was
missing money from Mr. Dalrymple. I reported it to the Oregon Bar as soon as I became aware.
I am not blaming Mr. Dalrymple nor have I ever said that he did not work on my behalf.
All I know is my total balance was not returned to me along with 2 re-billing fees that I did not
know about. All l'm asking for is what l'm due. Mr. Dalrymple was a good lawyer and I believe a
good friend. I do not want to ruin his name. ljust want what's owed to me.
Thank you very much,
-A
