people, and it made life make sense.
In the meantime the rate of speed at which our living
environments change became faster and more
complex. People now are always searching for stable
earnings, security, and identity. More and more
people are thinking that this search has to judge their
“real selves.” This is how we are educated. School
and training don’t make someone sufficiently
educated. Many people also want to reveal their deep
wishes, to live in the world, to feel their most
valuable and hidden desires, and to share them with
other people as strongly as possible. The changes
and increasing instability of our culture and
economic environment demand more flexibility on
the one hand and more personal strength on the
other. More and more we find sense and identity in
what is fleeting in our lives instead of what is steady
and strong.
