134 The PAVE Project Report SOCIAL SUPPORT VARIABLES T here were no statistically significant differences with regard to being able to talk freely to family and friends (paired-samples t-tests) in regards to general psychological health, depression, or PTSD severity between A1 and A2 (Figure 72). However in A3, those who could not talk freely to their families showed significantly lower BDI-II mean scores than those who stated that they could speak freely with their families (Figure 73).
