LOMA ® is making some exc<strong>it</strong>ing enhancements to <strong>it</strong>s<br />
designation programs <strong>and</strong> courses. From enhanced<br />
online delivery methods to more flexible <strong>and</strong> job-specific<br />
designation programs, we are planning changes that<br />
help learners make the most of the valuable education<br />
products LOMA provides. During 2009, we introduced<br />
the Need 2 Know course series (LOMA 281 <strong>and</strong><br />
LOMA 291)—a revolutionary approach to teaching LOMA's<br />
time-tested content in insurance fundamentals. Now,<br />
for <strong>2010</strong>, we are introducing a new approach to learning<br />
the rest of LOMA’s designation program content.<br />
This <strong>Catalog</strong> features details about several new products<br />
<strong>and</strong> services that LOMA is pleased to introduce in <strong>2010</strong>.<br />
These developments include<br />
•Revised Associate, Life Management Inst<strong>it</strong>ute<br />
(ALMI) <strong>and</strong> Fellow, Life Management Inst<strong>it</strong>ute (FLMI)<br />
designation programs<br />
•LOMA Course Portals—an exc<strong>it</strong>ing new method for<br />
delivering everything learners need to study <strong>and</strong> prepare<br />
for examinations<br />
•LOMA 307—Business <strong>and</strong> Financial Concepts for<br />
Insurance Professionals<br />
•Several new online courses<br />
•A <strong>com</strong>pletely revamped Web s<strong>it</strong>e, www.loma.org,<br />
featuring easy-to-navigate pages <strong>and</strong> enhanced graphic<br />
elements<br />
