Introduction<br />
If your GoBook computer is equipped with a wireless modem, you must first register it with the appropriate network<br />
provider.<br />
Before You Start: Register!<br />
Before using your wireless modem you must sign up for service with a wireless network provider. When you register,<br />
you will need to furnish the network provider with your modem ID and the computer’s serial number. This information<br />
is printed on a label located on the bottom of your GoBook computer.<br />
Registering Your Wireless Modem<br />
Air Card 300 (CDPD)<br />
When the computer is booting, you may be asked if you want to make the Sierra Wireless AirCard 300 your primary<br />
network interface card. For this procedure, click Yes and run Wireless Expert.<br />
NOTE Wireless Expert should start automatically.<br />
Call your preferred cellular data provider and tell them the AirCard EID displayed on the first screen. Then follow<br />
the on-screen procedures.<br />
