Bootup Sequence A; C; CDROM Use this field to set the devices from which the system should<br />

boot in order of priority. The default value is C; A; CDROM,<br />

which means that the computer will attempt to boot from the<br />

hard disk drive, then the floppy drive, then the CD-ROM.<br />

C; A; CDROM The computer will boot from the FDD, then the HDD,<br />

then the CD-ROM. The BIOS will auto detect a floppy disk in<br />

boot device A:.<br />

CDROM; A; C The computer will boot from the CD-ROM, then the FDD,<br />

then the HDD.<br />

S.M.A.R.T. for Hard Disabled<br />

Enabled<br />

The S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and<br />

Disks Reporting Technology) system is a diagnostics<br />

technology that monitors and predicts device performance.<br />

The disk drive software monitors the internal performance of<br />

the motors, media, heads, and electronics of the drive. Only<br />

S.M.A.R.T. Hard Disks are supported. The default is Enabled.<br />

Bootup Num-Lock Off<br />

Use this field to initially disable the NumLock feature of the<br />

internal keyboard when the GoBook starts. The default is Off.<br />

Display Expansion Enabled If you are using DOS or a 640 x 480 resolution to run<br />

Mode Disabled windows, the display will not fill the entire screen. Enable this<br />

mode to expand the display to the entire screen.<br />

Password Check Setup The default value is Setup, which specifies that a password is<br />

only required to enter the Setup Utility.<br />

Always If Always is selected, the password is required when the<br />

system is booted up or resuming from a suspend-to-disk.<br />
