2. Courses that are not considered to be college level (normally courses numbered below 100) will not be<br />

counted toward a degree.<br />

3. If no credit hours have been added to the student’s <strong>Concordia</strong> transcript for two or more calendar years, the<br />

student must apply (through the Office of Admission) for readmission and meet the requirements in effect at<br />

the time of readmission.<br />

4. The student must provide the Registrar with official transcripts sent directly from all other regionally<br />

accredited colleges or universities which the student attended. An official transcript showing high school<br />

graduation (or an official copy of GED scores) sent directly from the high school (or testing center) is<br />

required if the ADP student has earned less than 12 college credits.<br />

5. An application for commencement/diploma must be filed with the Registrar in a timely manner.<br />

6. The student must fulfill all financial obligations to the <strong>University</strong>.<br />

Associate of Arts Degree<br />

The following table summarizes the distribution of requirements for the general education credits related to all<br />

Accelerated Degree Program students. All numbers represent semester hours of credit. Quarter hours must be<br />

multiplied by 2/3. Grades of C- (1.6667) or above are required for transfer credits to be accepted. Credits earned<br />

through courses, standardized tests, lifelong learning papers, or professional schools/training programs must be<br />

assigned to appropriate sub-categories, or they will be considered electives. After formal admission to <strong>Concordia</strong><br />

<strong>University</strong>, students should consult with the Registrar so that additional coursework can be credited to the<br />

appropriate sub-category.<br />

I. Communication and Literature 6 credits<br />

II. Fine Arts and Humanities<br />

Choose at least one course from Group 1 and one from Group 2<br />

*Any mathematics course must be more advanced than Intermediate Algebra and requires a grade of C- (1.6667) or better.<br />
