Exercise 4.1.7 How to setup workflow roles (part 1) Now we have designed the workflow, we will determine the user permissions. To do so we first need to create two workflow roles and add users to them: Press the "Create new workflow role" button on the "Workflow roles" toolbar. The "New workflow role" dialog appears. Enter "Estimator" in the "Name" field. Enter a "Description" for the workflow state. Press the "OK" button. 61

The users are assigned to the "Estimator" workflow role. Press the "OK" button. Again press the "Create new workflow role" button on the "Workflow roles" toolbar. The "New workflow role" dialog appears. Enter "Project manager" in the "Name" field. Enter a "Description" for the workflow state. Press the "OK" button. At this moment all users are assigned to the "Estimator" workflow role and none to the "Project manager" workflow role. This will be changed later on in this course. 62
