The Rev. Clyde S. Angel
October 31, 1909-September 23, 2007
The Rev. Clyde S. Angel, retired priest of the Diocese
of Virginia, died on Sunday, September 23, in
Fredericksburg. Born in Vanderburg County, Ind.,
Mr. Angel attended Virginia Theological Seminary
and was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop
Hall in 1967. Mr. Angel served in several churches
in the Diocese of Virginia including St. Mary’s,
Colonial Beach; St. Mary’s, Fleeton; and Wicomico
Church. Mr. Angel retired in 1976. Mr. Angel was
predeceased by his wife, Rogelia, with whom he had
four children.
