The Rev. Beverly Dandridge Tucker
August 25, 1925-March 10, 2007
The Rev. Beverly Dandridge Tucker, a retired priest
canonically resident in the Diocese of Virginia, died
March 10 in York, Maine, where he had retired.
Born in Shanghai, Dr. Tucker received his M.A.
from Harvard University and his B.D. from Virginia
Theological Seminary before being ordained to the
priesthood in 1954. Dr. Tucker served his entire
ministry as a missionary to Japan, between 1952 and
his retirement in 1992. He and his wife, Jean, had
three children.
