EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES<br />

The International Consultant / Team Leader will be responsible for leading overall <strong>UNFPA</strong><br />

<strong>Moldova</strong> CP coordination and <strong>evaluation</strong>. His/her tasks include the following:<br />

• Conclude on the formulation of the Evaluation Plan;<br />

• Review background and reference materials provided by <strong>UNFPA</strong> CO;<br />

• Lead the main data collection mission for both P&D and RH components and conduct<br />

data collection in accordance with the Evaluation Plan;<br />

• Guide Evaluation Team /National Consultant in his/her preparation of inputs to the<br />

<strong>UNFPA</strong> Evaluation Report and draft strategic inputs to the Report as required;<br />

• Compile inputs to <strong>UNFPA</strong> Evaluation. Prepare revisions, as needed, based on<br />

comments provided by the stakeholders, <strong>UNFPA</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Director, <strong>UNFPA</strong> <strong>Country</strong><br />

Office etc.;<br />

• Request any technical and analytical input needed from <strong>UNFPA</strong> CO and national<br />

counterparts until the completion of Report;<br />

• Present the findings of the Evaluation Report to the <strong>UNFPA</strong> <strong>Country</strong> Director,<br />

<strong>UNFPA</strong> <strong>Programme</strong> Coordinator in <strong>Moldova</strong> and other stakeholders.<br />

The specific deliverables of the <strong>UNFPA</strong> International Consultant / Team Leader are:<br />

i) The Harmonized Evaluation Plan<br />

ii) The <strong>UNFPA</strong> Evaluation Report (including relevant annexes). The final report should be prepared<br />

in accordance with the Terms TOR for the Evaluation of the <strong>Moldova</strong> CP.<br />

iii) Presentation of the findings to stakeholders.<br />

National consultant for the Gender component – a local consultant with broad knowledge of the <strong>Moldova</strong><br />

Gender context will provide in-country support to the <strong>UNFPA</strong> Evaluation Team Leader, participating<br />

with him/her in all stakeholder meetings and providing other technical and advisory support as required.<br />

DURATION OF CONSULTANCY<br />

The <strong>UNFPA</strong> Evaluation in <strong>Moldova</strong> is due to be completed between 4 - 22 July <strong>2011</strong>. The<br />

duration of each task is estimated in the table below.<br />
