Admissions to primary school in 2011 to 2012 system will be used to randomly pick who will be offered a place. Please contact the school if you would like more information about this. If we offer the last place available to one of twins (or triplets and so on) we will offer the place that is available and you can decide which child will take up the place. Children in public care who are of the Christian faith; 2. Children whose parent* or parents* are actively involved in the worship of St George’s Church, Tyldesley (One parent must be on the Church Electoral Roll and must attend a church service on at least 12 occasions during a 12 month period – written evidence required from the Vicar or other person nominated by the Vicar.) 3. Children in public care; 4. Children with sisters or brothers in school at the date of the child’s admission; (to include half brothers & sisters, step brothers & sisters and foster brothers/sisters who live at the same address as part of the same family unit.) 5. Children whose parent* or parents* are involved in the worship of another Christian church in St George’s parish (One parent must be on the Electoral Roll or equivalent and must attend a church service on at least 12 occasions during a 12 month period - written evidence required from the Vicar/Minister or other person nominated by the Vicar/Minister.) 6. Children with compelling medical or social needs who live St George’s parish (written evidence from a professional involved with the child is required); 7. Children who live within the parish of St George (from the child’s home address** to the main gate at school as measured by the LA ;) 8. Children who live outside the parish of St George (from the child’s home address** to the main gate at school as measured by the LA); * ‘Parent’ is defined as the adult with parental responsibility for the child. ** Child’s home address is taken as the address at which the child sleeps for the majority of the school week.
