BUILDING PRODUCTS & CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS<br />
INDUSTRY GROUP (BPCM IG)<br />
SMa’s Building Products & Construction Materials (BPCM) IG’s<br />
mission is to promote and share business experiences and<br />
information with members, relevant government agencies and<br />
private organisations. It serves as a platform to disseminate and<br />
communicate government legislation concerning the building and<br />
construction industry to members.<br />
The SMa BPCM IG Committee meets bi-monthly to discuss the<br />
industry’s developments and to organise activities. Dialogue<br />
sessions are held regularly for members to provide feedback and<br />
insights into their problems, and more importantly, to explore<br />
business opportunities.<br />
The objectives of the committee are:<br />
To promote and focus on specialised business interests<br />
of members<br />
To share business experiences and information among members<br />
To form strategic alliances among members so as to obtain<br />
economies of scale in business operations<br />
To enhance networking opportunities among members<br />
