Drawing on SMa-organised industry and
networking events and corporate learning
seminars, EDC@SMa has reached
out to more than 1,000 companies
to disseminate information and to
understand their diffi culties and business
needs. This outreach programme
has allowed EDC@SMa to provide
useful business information, business
diagnostics and consultancy for these
SMEs to improve their competitiveness.
OUR PARTNERS
EDC@SMa collaborates with a pool
of experienced associate consultants
from different areas of business such
as certifi cation, business management,
fi nance, trade and logistics, to
complement the business expertise
resident in SMEs to further grow their
businesses. The associates are bound
by a code of conduct that emphasises
confi dentiality and performance
standards, whilst EDC’s Managing
Consultant/Director ensures that
the projects undertaken meet high
performance standards.

Agency (WDA) and Ministry of Manpower
(MOM) to reach out to SMEs.
FACILITIES
EDC@SMa’s information services to
clients are offered through a state-of-theart
Resource Center to provide up-todate
and pertinent information to SMEs.
The business clinics and easy access
to EDC@SMa’s consultants rendered
expeditious solutions and answers
to clients’ problems and questions
respectively. The Resource Center
also offers online diagnostics based on
Quantel’s CEO ProAct system and the
powerful and comprehensive Lexis Nexis
information search engine to the clients.
EDC@SMa strives to cooperate and align
itself with the government on common
missions by developing partnerships
with SPRING Singapore, IE Singapore,
