SMa SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
The SMa School of Management (SMa-SOM) was established
in 2004 to further SMa’s mission to increase the global
competitiveness of Singapore companies.
Over the past 2 years, SMa School of Management (SMa-SOM)
has expanded rapidly by partnering prestigious universities to
offer quality academic programmes to both local and international
students in Singapore. As of December 2005, SMa-SOM had an
enrollment of more than 500 students in various programmes from
the Diploma to Postgraduate level.
SMa-SOM ACHIEVES CASETRUST FOR
EDUCATION ACCREDITATION
In October 2005, SMa-SOM was awarded the
CaseTrust for education accreditation by the
Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE).
The CaseTrust for Education Accreditation
Scheme was launched by CASE to endorse
the provision of good student welfare and
sound business practices by Private Education
Organizations (PEOs). This award essentially
accords confi dence to enrolling students and
their parents regarding the quality of education
provided by the award recipients, as CaseTrusted
schools are expected to be trustworthy and
professional in all their operations and business
dealings.
NEW PROGRAMMES AT SMa-SOM
Through its collaboration with global universities
partners, SOM offers a comprehensive range
of diploma, degree and postgraduate courses
to meet the changing needs of the industry.
It had successfully launched a spectrum of
programmes in Business, Marketing, Information
Intelligence, Security Management, Logistics and
Professional Accounting to cater to the growing
demand for quality academic qualifi cations.
SMa-SOM currently offers 2 doctoral, 8 masters,
12 bachelors and more than 15 diploma and
certifi cate programmes.
SMa PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA SERIES
To meet the demand of practitioners in specifi c
industries, SMa-SOM has developed a series of
Professional Diploma programmes in Security
Management, Crisis & Emergency Management,
Environmental Health and Safety Management.
This series of Professional Diplomas complement
the existing range of academic and business
diploma programmes. Offered on a full- and
part-time basis, these diplomas provide a broadbased
educational experience via a variety of
practical modules.
SMa-SOM also collaborates with International
Institutions such as International Trade Centre
