Step 3. Click Apply or OK to proceed with configuration. Note that the<br />

configuration will be saved to the reserved space on the array and<br />

may cause a short delay.<br />

Step 4. Click Broadcasting List from the tabbed panel above.<br />

Host IP: The IP address a broadcast message will be sent to.<br />

Severity: Select the severity level of events to be sent to the<br />

receiver station.<br />

Computers receiving broadcast messages will be added to the<br />

Host Name list on the right.<br />

Step 5. Click Apply or OK to complete the configuration.<br />

IMPORTANT!<br />

In a massive capacity configuration, it takes a while for the RAID<br />

subsystem to write the NPC configuration profile to every disk member.<br />

DO NOT reset or power down the subsystem before the configuration<br />

can be safely distributed to the array.<br />

Also make sure the subsystem’s Ethernet port and related TCP/IP<br />

settings have been properly configured for the NPC functionality to take<br />

effect.<br />
