Step 4. Select the severity level of events to be sent to the receiver.<br />

Step 5. Repeat this process to add more receivers.<br />

Sender Side<br />

From the Module Config window:<br />

Step 1. Find the MSN settings from the pull-down list.<br />

Step 2. Click on the On/Off switch beside the pull-down button to enable<br />

MSN notification.<br />

Step 3. Double-click on the Current Value field of the Status row to<br />

enable MSN notification. Set Status to Enable if you want the<br />

module to be activated every time the Root Agent is started. Note<br />

that the On/Off switch should also be in the On position before<br />

you turn off the server or close the utility. Otherwise, you will<br />

have to manually enable the function whenever you reboot your<br />

server.<br />

Step 4. Select the severity level of events to be sent to the receiver<br />

station.<br />

Step 5. Provide a valid MSN contact by entering the user name.<br />

Step 6. Provide the associated password.<br />

4.4.9 SMS Settings<br />

SMS is a short for “Short Message Service.” Using this notification<br />

method requires a GSM modem. <strong>RAIDWatch</strong> currently supports two<br />

GSM modem models:<br />
