Turku <strong>Training</strong> Centre<br />

In 1939 the first diesel engine manufactured by Wärtsilä in Turku was delivered. From this<br />
time on, training activities have been conducted at the Wärtsilä facility and this tradition<br />
for quality, innovation and technical competence is present today in the training products<br />
offered at (WLSA) Wärtsilä <strong>Training</strong> Services Finland, Turku <strong>Training</strong> Centre.<br />
This training is provided exclusively for Wärtsilä products, for example: engines, ancillary<br />
units, engine control and automation, monitoring, fuel, and auxiliary systems simulators for<br />
both diesel and gas operated installations.<br />
A full spectrum of training methods is in use, including practical, classroom, on-site and<br />
simulated environment.<br />
The <strong>Training</strong> Centre is ISO 9001, 14000, 18000 OHAS accredited.<br />
