DIESEL ENGINE GOVERNOR<br />
COURSE OBJECTIVE<br />
Upon completion of the course, the trainees should be familiar with design features, control<br />
systems with related automation, operation conditions, performance, and fault diagnosis<br />
of the governor as installed in a diesel engine. Included hands-on training on a Woodward<br />
UG-8 and PGA governor shall increase effectiveness and proficiency. This engine course is<br />
prepared with the intention of closing skills gap and improving work performance of engine<br />
personnel/officers, in accordance with provisions of section A-III/1 of the STCW95 Code.<br />

PREREQUISITES<br />
The participants in this course should have sufficient experience in the operation and<br />
maintenance of diesel engines as well as its system.<br />
