Winterthur <strong>Training</strong> Centre<br />
SWITZERLAND<br />
The <strong>Training</strong> Centre is located in the same building as the diesel technology centre, thereby<br />
providing the possibility to extend the training experience. We provide in-class, operation<br />
(simulation), practical (hands-on) and/or tailor made 2-stroke trainings with certified trainers.<br />
A comprehensive practical training workshop with the following equipment is available:<br />
• Full-size 4RTA62 training engine<br />
• Full-size RTA, RT-flex and W-X components and modules<br />
• Full-size control system simulators for RTA, RT-flex and W-X engines<br />
• Various engine optimising and monitoring systems<br />
• Engine- and engine room simulations<br />
• Possibility to observe the test engine (Wärtsilä 4RT-flex60) and component test beds<br />
