PRACTICAL AND OPERATION ADVANCED<br />
COURSE OBJECTIVE<br />
To provide the trainee with some basic knowledge, installation, system checking and<br />
commissioning and fault finding/solving skills so they can support the operators with greater<br />
understanding of what is happening in particular situations. They can solve/diagnose small<br />
electrical and mechanical problems.<br />
CONTENT OF THE COURSE<br />
• System overview (components)<br />
• Installation (wiring connection)<br />
• Software structure (handling- events and alarms)<br />
• Commissioning (analysis data)<br />
• Engine model commissioning (operator station)<br />
• Maintenance system check, SW handling)<br />
• Fault tracing and data analysis<br />
PREREQUISITES<br />
The trainees should have a basic knowledge of marine and power plant 2- and 4-stroke<br />
engine systems together with some operational experience. Formal theoretical education in<br />
engineering and basic electronics is preferred but is not mandatory.<br />

related to daily operation of 2-and 4-stroke engine systems. Primarily<br />

CYLMATE ICM installation aspects, system and commissioning/operation<br />
function.<br />
