WÄRTSILÄ RT PRACTICAL<br />
COURSE OBJECTIVE<br />
Target of the RT Practical course is that the participants know the differences to<br />
conventional 2-stroke engines and being able to carry out maintenance and inspections on<br />
RT components. The trainee will receive through familiarization with procedures concerning<br />
the most common maintenance work on 2-stroke engine systems and planning of the<br />
efficient maintenance. Hands-on training will be performed on important parts.<br />
CONTENT OF THE COURSE<br />

– Piston gland box<br />
– White metal Camshaft<br />
– Reversing servomotor<br />
– Camshaft<br />
– Fuel injecting pump timing<br />
– Fuel- and actuator cam<br />
PREREQUISITES<br />
The trainees should have basic knowledge about 2-stroke engines and understand technical<br />
documents.<br />
