ENGINE ROOM AUXILIARY SYSTEMS ADVANCED<br />

COURSE OBJECTIVE<br />

In order to upkeep a safe and reliable operation, understanding of special equipment is of<br />

importance. The aim of this training is to provide the trainees with the knowledge to operate<br />

and maintain major auxiliary units. This training is limited to a maximum of three suppliers,<br />

preferably purifier, booster unit and boiler makers.<br />

CONTENT OF THE COURSE<br />

• Classroom introduction<br />

• Design and function of the units<br />

• Maintenance and adjustments<br />

• Trouble shooting<br />

• Hands-on (depend of agreed program)<br />

PREREQUISITES<br />

The trainees should have a basic knowledge of engine room or power plant auxiliary<br />

principles together with some operational experience of diesel engines. Theoretical<br />

education on internal combustion engines is preferred.<br />
