Some Useful Activities for Teach<strong>in</strong>g Language Skills<br />

Listen<strong>in</strong>g<br />

• Passage, poem, or song for listen<strong>in</strong>g portray<strong>in</strong>g a different culture.<br />

• Students listen to a story centered on a global issue. (The teacher can make up one.)<br />

• Students listen to sketch, speech, debate etc highlight<strong>in</strong>g a global issue.<br />
