7 Customer Service Plan
7.1 Review of Levels of Service
The adopted Levels of Service for water supply and sewerage businesses (see section 5) are seen
as reflecting local community aspirations.
It should be noted that, if required, LOS can be negotiated with customers. LOS covered by
statutory and licence requirements can only be negotiated if the customers require LOS higher
than the regulatory requirements. CHW should advice their customers that LOS are negotiable
on the basis that higher LOS will require higher Typical Residential Bills (TRBs).
7.2 Areas Serviced
This part of the plan looks at Council’s intentions for providing services to areas that are currently
without water supply and sewerage services. Council has strategies for extending services based
on planning and growth strategies.
Table 6 provides a list of all CHCC towns’ current and projected population, their current services
provided and whether the present facilities are satisfactory or not.
New development will have water supply and sewerage services provided and financed by the
developer & S64 plans.
