(3) stress reports and stress calculations;<br />

(4) as-built drawings;<br />

(5) reports <strong>of</strong> material properties, including the results <strong>of</strong> examinations and the<br />

names <strong>of</strong> the personnel interpreting the results;<br />

(6) records <strong>of</strong> heat treatments;<br />

(7) samples <strong>of</strong> materials, to provide information on material properties, heat treatment<br />

and other relevant information for future reference;<br />

(8) a record <strong>of</strong> the manufacturing, construction, and pre-service examination.<br />

4. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IN-SERVICE<br />

INSPECTION PROGRAMME<br />

4.1. INSPECTION PROGRAMME FOR INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS<br />

The plant inspection programme will make it possible to define the inspections<br />

for each component and system subject to ISI. It should contain at least:<br />

— designation <strong>of</strong> the component/system;<br />

— designation <strong>of</strong> the examination areas for pre- and in-service inspections;<br />

— examination methods, techniques and procedures;<br />

— examination restrictions;<br />

— ISI interval and period;<br />

— area and volume examined.<br />

The programme document should be approved by the regulatory body if<br />

required.<br />

It is recommended that the content be detailed as follows:<br />

— component/system operating and design dates;<br />

— location, access;<br />

— insulation;<br />

— base codes for establishing the ISI programme;<br />

— surface conditions;<br />

— examination possibilities (e.g. for non-scheduled examinations);<br />

— drawings <strong>of</strong> the component;<br />

— detailed drawings <strong>of</strong> the examination areas;<br />

— detailed instructions additional to the general procedures.<br />

Examples <strong>of</strong> inspection programmes for some components are given in<br />

Annex IV.<br />
