• This program provides $3500 for home
adaptations that will allow low income
seniors to continue to live in their homes
independently. Examples of eligible adaptations
are chair glide/lift, ramp, door
knobs, walk-in shower and relocation of
laundry appliances. This program is NOT
for general home repairs.

• This program provides grants for low to
moderate- income wheelchair users to make
permanent modifications that will increase
the mobility into and within their home.

• Homeowner R.R.A.P. provides funds for
home improvements in the form of a
forgivable loan. Applicants must meet
income and property value guidelines. The
house must be at least five years old. An
inspector is sent from The City to determine
the necessary repairs. Repairs must
fall into one of five categories: electrical,
structural, plumbing, heating or fire safety.
• Disabled R.R.A.P. provides funds to improve
accessibility in the home for disabled
persons.
