• This program provides $3500 for home<br />
adaptations that will allow low income<br />
seniors to continue to live in their homes<br />
independently. Examples <strong>of</strong> eligible adaptations<br />
are chair glide/lift, ramp, door<br />
knobs, walk-in shower and relocation <strong>of</strong><br />
laundry appliances. This program is NOT<br />
for general home repairs.<br />

moderate- income wheelchair users to make<br />
permanent modifications that will increase<br />
the mobility into and within their home.<br />

• Homeowner R.R.A.P. provides funds for<br />
home improvements in the form <strong>of</strong> a<br />
forgivable loan. Applicants must meet<br />
income and property value guidelines. The<br />
house must be at least five years old. An<br />
inspector is sent from The City to determine<br />
the necessary repairs. Repairs must<br />
fall into one <strong>of</strong> five categories: electrical,<br />
structural, plumbing, heating or fire safety.<br />
• Disabled R.R.A.P. provides funds to improve<br />
accessibility in the home for disabled<br />
persons.<br />
