Recreation has a continuing education<br />

database that lists the various types <strong>of</strong> programming<br />

for seniors, locations, scheduling,<br />

• A wide range <strong>of</strong> recreation and fitness activities<br />

run throughout the year. These include<br />

registered programs and drop-in clubs.<br />

Registered programs include courses and<br />

workshops in academics, arts and crafts, fine<br />

arts, fitness (aerobics, dance, strength training,<br />

and balance), health, computers, and<br />

languages. Drop-in clubs include badminton,<br />

cribbage, general crafts, artists club,<br />

and Spanish conversation.<br />

• <strong>Kerby</strong> <strong>Centre</strong> maintains a database <strong>of</strong><br />

programs <strong>of</strong>fered to 50+ in Calgary. It can<br />
