OPERATing INSTRUCTIONS<br />
1. STOP! Read the safety inf<strong>or</strong>mation above.<br />
2. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the burner. Do not try<br />
to light the burner by hand.<br />
3. With five (5) minutes to clear out any gas. Then smell f<strong>or</strong> gas, including near the flo<strong>or</strong>. If you smell<br />
gas, STOP! Follow "B" in the safety inf<strong>or</strong>mation on page 38. If you do not smell gas, go to next step.<br />
4. Press the master switch to the "ON" (-) position. Within eight (8) seconds it will beep once. This<br />
indicates the system is ready.<br />
5. Press "ON " button. Sparker will spark and pilot flame will light.<br />
6. Once pilot flame is established, the main burner flame will light automatically.<br />
7. If the pilot will not stay lit after several tries, turn the master switch to "OFF" and call your service<br />
technician <strong>or</strong> gas supplier.<br />

TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE<br />
1. Turn master switch to "OFF".<br />
2. Turn off all electrical power to the appliance if service is to be perf<strong>or</strong>med.<br />
