According to a new OECD report (June 2008), Spain ranks 9 th amongst the OECD countries in Broadband subscribers.

Since 2002 the population of Spain has increased by 4 million inhabitants, with average annual growth of 2%. Spain is the country which grew most in relative terms of all the
EU-27 (Spain: 1.64% vs. EU-27: 0.40%).
Under the assumption that the population of Spain had grown at the same rate as the EU-27 average (CAGR 2002-2007=0.55) the penetration of Broadband at the end of
December 2007 would be 19.3%
