downturn and improve US competitiveness standards. $ 6 Billion will be spent to expand broadband access <strong>in</strong><br />
rural and other underserved areas.<br />
• Digital TV: Provision of $ 650 million to fund a federal coupon program subsidiz<strong>in</strong>g the purchase of digital<br />
converter boxes .<br />
• E-health: Provision of $20 billion to aid the use of electronic medical records.<br />
