IN THE MATTER OF
AUTHORIZING INCREASE
IN SEWER RATES
It was moved by Mr.
Dewitz thac the following resolution be adopted:
Whereas, based upon information provided by the Sanitary Engineer and
Farmers' Home Administration a rate increase of $4.00 per equivalency unit
per month for users of the Danbury Sewer District would be necessary for 1986, and
whereas, Farmers' Home Administration has agreed to waive the requirement
of making a deposit in the.Danbury Reserve Fund, and
whereas, Contract S has not been completed and those customers added to the
system making income projections uncertain;
Therefore, the Board of Ottawa CounCy Commissioners authorizes an increase
in the equivalency unit per month on the Danbury Sewer District from $17.00 to
$19.00 per month effective January 1, 1986. The Board will review rates for
1987 in June, 1986 to determine 1987 rates based upon the number of customers,
delinquency rate and Farmers' Home requirements.
The motion was seconded by Mr.
Lorenscn and upon call of its adoption, the
vot2 resulted as follows: Mr. Opfer, yes; Mr. Lorensen, yes; Mr. Dewitz, yes.
