4.3.2 Maltarra Road
The principal issues identified on Maltarra Road are:
Traffic Speeds / Irresponsible Driving
With the 85 th percentile speeds in excess of 50 km/h and almost 50% (Table 2 below) of drivers
driving over the 50 km/h speed limit there is a there is a very large problem with speed on Maltarra
Road. Hoon driving and burnouts have also been raised as an issue.

Primary School Parking Issues
Concerns have been raised by the community regarding the insufficient amount of available parking
to service the demand generated by the school located at the northern end of Maltarra Road. The
school generates increased traffic volumes in the morning and afternoon, when parents drop off and
