It further plans to become a leader in the support of innovative ICT enterprises within
the next five years by implementing an efficiently operating network of business support
organizations, so as to stimulate the development of Szczecin and the entire region into
becoming a place where information technologies and e-services are common.
The Pomeranian Technopark is managed by the Szczecin Science and Technology Park
(Szczeciński Park Naukowo-Technologiczny Sp. z o.o.) and conducts business incubation
with emphasis on young enterprises from the IT sector and other lines of business
based around information and communications technologies. One of the Technopark’s
buildings is currently being expanded and will contain three new facilities for the use of
incubated firms.
The incubator’s offering includes advertising, information services and business advice,
specialized training, and premises for conducting meetings and business activity.
In the next stages of the Technopark’s development, the Szczecin Science and
Technology Park plans to support other companies from sectors deemed of strategic
importance for Szczecin and the Zachodniopomorskie Province.
