among them 94 start-up companies.
The number of jobs made available
is estimated at 1,150. The MARR
Agency for Regional Development
(Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego
MARR S.A.), which manages
the New Technology Incubator, won
first place in a competition organized
by the Polish Agency for Enterprise
Development in the “Innovative
Project” category, for the project
entitled “The forming of an electric
vehicle market and an appropriate
loading infrastructure as a basis of
energy security”.
Presently work is underway on
a project entitled: “The building
of the IN-TECH New Technology
Incubator and the expansion of
the Mielec Industrial Park”.
The institution’s goal is to initiate, organize and support the restructuring and economic
growth of the Podkarpackie Province by integrating people and institutions for these
endeavors.
It provides professional consulting on the matters of starting and managing a business,
technology audits and technology transfers, seeking and advertising technological solutions,
intellectual property law, patent law, protection of intellectual property including industrial
designs and trademarks. It also points out possible sources of funding. The Incubator aids in
establishing cooperation with domestic and foreign universities, R&D centers, technology
parks and incubators.
It conducts training courses for entrepreneurs and researchers, organizes cooperative
meetings for foreign and domestic entrepreneurs and helps in obtaining low-interest loans.
It further offers comfortable conditions for starting and managing an enterprise by renting
production, office and laboratory space.
The incubator is always looking for people willing to cooperate with R&D centers and
universities.
