The mission of the Świętokrzyskie Regional Center for <strong>Innovation</strong> and Technology<br />
Transfer (ŚCITT) is to support local entrepreneurship and stimulate development of<br />
the Świętokrzyskie region through transfer of scientific and research achievements,<br />
provide bus<strong>in</strong>ess <strong>in</strong>formation and e-learn<strong>in</strong>g for small and medium enterprises, as well<br />
as organize fairs and conferences. ŚCITT participates <strong>in</strong> the National Service System,<br />
<strong>in</strong>novation networks (national KSI and European EEN), and develops and implements<br />
regional development projects <strong>in</strong> three key fields: regional <strong>in</strong>novation systems,<br />
<strong>in</strong>formation society and renewable energy sources.<br />
ŚCITT services, which are often offered free of charge, also <strong>in</strong>clude consult<strong>in</strong>g with<br />
regard to applications for fund<strong>in</strong>g of <strong>in</strong>vestment <strong>in</strong>itiatives from structural funds, as well<br />
as a range of other consult<strong>in</strong>g services: general (e.g. possibilities of us<strong>in</strong>g renewable<br />
energy sources) and pro-<strong>in</strong>novation consult<strong>in</strong>g services (e.g. technology audits,<br />
search<strong>in</strong>g for new partners <strong>in</strong> both bus<strong>in</strong>ess and R&D), provid<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>formation and<br />
tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g (e.g. quality management, effective energy use, <strong>in</strong>novative problem solv<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
public–private partnerships and more).<br />
ŚCITT services are implemented based on PN-EN ISO 9001:2009<br />
standard. ŚCITT has received prestigious prizes such as <strong>Innovation</strong><br />
Certificate 2009, <strong>Innovation</strong> Certificate 2005 and “Polish Market”<br />
CENT FOR FUTURE. With<strong>in</strong> five years ŚCITT plans to be a powerful<br />
consult<strong>in</strong>g organization, offer<strong>in</strong>g a full range of services for<br />
bus<strong>in</strong>esses and local government entities. It hopes to serve the<br />
public by ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the highest quality standards while work<strong>in</strong>g<br />
for the development of the region and entrepreneurial activity.<br />
