The “Horyzonty” Association has implemented the following projects: Academic
Innovation (Innowacja Akademicka), Inno Patent as a method of innovation protection
(Inno Patent jako metoda ochrony innowacji), Energy Saving (Energo-Oszczędność) and
Eco-Energy (Eko-Energia) with partners from the Ukraine. In the future, it plans to conduct
popularization and education projects and function as a legal patent office in the area of
commercializing research results.
“HORYZONTY” Association for Innovation and Technology Transfer is a volunteer association
involved in the promotion and development of innovation in South-Eastern Poland.
The Association’s goal is promoting and implementing innovative solutions for the development
of the Podkarpackie Province.
The Association’s activities include cooperation with local government institutions,
academic institutions, student organizations, entrepreneurs, and various associations.
They provide consulting and training services for economic and local government
entities which help introduce and implement innovations and new technology.
They also participate in publishing activities, creating publicly available technical
and technology information systems, stimulating cross-regional and international
cooperation in the area of technology transfer and creating a cooperation network,
participation in implementing support programs co-financed from the European Union
and from similar funds whose character is related to the Association’s goals, promoting
the achievements of Polish science and regional academic institutions and creators of
technology by organizing fairs, conferences, competitions etc.
It is currently searching for stable sources of financing along with the possibility of
training resources in the field of commercializing patents and research results.
