The Center organizes
over 50 training
courses and
conferences, supports
over 3,000 customers
and performs nearly
10 technology transfers
each year. It has helped
to establish 84 new
companies.
Since its establishment, the Center has worked to support innovation in the region. It implements domestic
and international projects related to scientific development and boosting businesses’ competitive edge.
It facilitates technological contacts between entrepreneurs and research institutes, creates partnerships
and assists in preparing applications to Framework Programs and Structural Funds. Adoption of the Quality
Management System accredited to the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 standard is a guarantee of high quality services.
The Center supports information exchange as well as domestic and international transfer of innovative
solutions in all branches of science and industry. It also works to increase awareness of legal protection of
intellectual and industrial property. It provides information and advice to entrepreneurs and scientists as well
as to academic and non-academic institutions about the possibility of commencing international cooperation
in the field of research and development. It organizes training, conferences and informational days, and assists
in preparing applications for funding to Framework Programs. It delivers free information about establishing
and conducting business and managing an enterprise, as well as information about the rules of preparing
and settling applications for grants from programs implemented with the use of budget funds and Structural
Funds of the European Union.
