Wire Harness Tools<br />
WIRE HARNESS SPOON<br />
DMC’s Wire Harness Spoon is used to<br />
assist in inserting new wires into existing<br />
wire harnesses. It helps thread new or<br />
repaired wires under tight cable ties, zip<br />
ties, string ties and cushion clamps.<br />
The plastic construction of the wire<br />
harness spoon reduces damage when<br />
inserting wires because it will not damage<br />
ties or adjacent wires. There is less<br />
chance of nicks or cuts than with a<br />
metallic wire harness spoon. It can<br />
also be used to isolate cable ties<br />
<strong>for</strong> safe cutting to prevent damage<br />
to wire insulation.<br />
The WHS-1 is Orange in color<br />
and .875” wide by 6” long.<br />
CABLE TIE REMOVAL TOOLS<br />
Now you can quickly remove cable ties without damaging<br />
the wire harness. The safety guards on the tip of the MG cable<br />
tie removal tools slide behind the cable tie strap to prevent<br />
the sharp blades from contacting and damaging the bundled<br />
items. The ergonomic, cushion grip handles and scissor action<br />
produce a clean cut.<br />
Also use the MG series cable tie removal tools when repairing<br />
and retrofitting wire harnesses & hose assemblies, removing<br />
packaged items, prototyping & testing products, and many<br />
other factory and field uses.<br />
These cable tie removal tools provide a long life when cutting<br />
plastic, thin copper wire, and aluminum wire AWG 10 & smaller.<br />
Each tool is made of heat treated alloy steel with a Rockwell<br />
hardness range of 53-58Rc.<br />
