Dissemination area 117 is amongst those with the highest overall social vulnerability in the District of <strong>Lunenburg</strong>. The area of greatest concern is the Very High proportion of seniors and seniors living alone, who will require assistance throughout the natural hazard cycle. Residents with low income, who rely on government transfer payments, and lone parent families may lack the resources they need to cope with a natural hazard.
